7/16 Segment Display
Re-released on ko-fi for free here(Blender 2.83.20+). iirc I was planning to simplify the 16 segment node a bit since very long time ago, but that plan somehow got turned into a node for Material Maker(still procedural but in glsl).
Particles Time
Clock texture (packed to .blend) mostly based on this setupwith minor modifications
Material Rendering Template
Simple Blender material "template" I use for most of my material renders. It definitely depends on the material so the light setup will change a little (plus compositing) but here's it.It's not really anything special but it does include a special shader setup(original setup by LucaR...
Greek Pattern
Greek pattern using shader nodes, slightly revised version from the one on twitter
Mosaic Tiles
Made for the Mayterials Challenge - "Mosaic"1K Textures / Source files (.blend/.ptex) are included(Blender 4.1 / Material Makerv1.3)
Ocean Waves Material
Now available for free via ko-fi (Blender 4.2+): https://ko-fi.com/s/685718be1dThis took a while mainly because eevee-next is quite unstable when I first made it
Shattered
Made for Mayterials. Textures(1K resolution) & source file (Material Maker& Blender: 3.6+) are included
Magic Circle
Magic circle texture based on Frieren (Sousou no Frieren, used reference from ep3), also trying out Inkscape(free & open source vector graphics editor) for the first time. The file format looks just like plain svg but you will still need the software to view/export it correctly.
Jellyfish
Old project I've done as part my first participation of Harry's TechnicallyAChallenge on their discord. This is similar to the ones I've posted earlier and uses vector displacement from material nodes.
Plane Vector Displacement
Some older vector displacement materials on the default plane. These are mostly done before geometry nodes came to be(iirc or when legacy geometry nodes is still a thing). These files still work as they only used shader nodes(tested with blender 3.6) but is Cycles only.To see them as they are like t...
Targeting UI
Based on the final movie from the Evangelion series. Exact reference can be found at about 2mins in this youtube video
Cloud tutorial result
End result from the quick cloud tutorial I did a while ago with a little touch-up. The tutorial can be found here. The tutorial thumbnail is 3.6 because I used the real-time compositor a bit but the setup works with older version of Blender(i.e. 2.83, perhaps even earlier)
Filepath number in/decrementer
Simple add-on(2.83+) I made for my own use but perhaps people might find it useful. This works similar to the one in the file dialog but without opening the dialog.Addon source (click on raw and save as):https://gist.github.com/williamchange/45641b86a8cceb1953a16d5504906893
Following Trails
Trails moving towards a chosen direction using an Empty (Blender 4.1+). Similar to 'particle ocean', scaling the empty will limit how 'fast' the trails are moving
particle ocean
looping(not the animation, just the points) particle oceanmove the empty around to move towards a particular direction, scale it to limit movement speed
Style Test
initial style test file for the stylized clouds tutorial:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPKYW0-Zz3E
Stylized scene
Stylized scene experiment with simple meshes and refraction shaders to distort them.File is available for free via ko-fi: https://ko-fi.com/s/1bd9a8b038
Topographic Scanner
Simple topographic scanner using the new depth pass in the real-time compositor (Blender 4.1+). Mostly inspired by the scanner from No Man's Sky
Hybrid Shield
Organic/Sci-fi shield
Topographic Scanner
Minor update to the NMS-like topographical scanner. This still does the same basic radial distance from camera but I might revisit it later.
Meteor
Pixel Composer v1.16.0.3
Hangul glyphs generator (WIP)
Simple hangul glyphs generator by combining primitive parts (jamo?).This is still WIP but once completed it will be released on Ko-fi for free. (Blender 4.1+)Edit: The finalized (v0) version is now available via ko-fi for freehttps://ko-fi.com/s/ea8bca1d67
