another slow update and abandonment of the cage project
i legit fucked this up todayone side looks amazing, but another side dripped and i tried to patch it up but to no avail :(and so, after like 3 months trying to get a decent thing out of this... i give up, im done... paint takes days to cure in the florida humidity, i cant wet sand, i cant get it to ...

i have been working away at this and here is the result of the test pieces i madethese two were not sanded and filled anywhere near as meticulously as the final prints i madefinishing those comes next

i didnt bother to sand or fill these perfectly unlike the aeromorph and its ring. they got a light coat of gold each and i will epoxy the ring tomorrow as a test. if all goes well i should have EVERYTHING done in a day or two 🤞

finally got around to dehyrdating a spool of plastic and test printing this, after about a day of sanding its very smooth and i just gotta procure some filler to fill the last imperfections out.
