Small update and change of course for my cage project
🕑 Added 2025-04-15 01:02:34 +0000 UTCafter a few suggestions, thinking it through, and a lot of consideration i decided to scrap my first test pieces which were done using clear coat and am making some new test pieces to try epoxy resin on. i also had to wait till after my birthday to afford some epoxy (this stuff is like 3x the price of a can of clear enamel)
luckily i had an older wolf's head cage i printed and i stripped all the paint from my first test ring so now we start the epoxy journey tomorrow once this gold paint dries!

oh also i fabricated a little hanging painting/drying thing out of old model kit sprus. i only have one which is making this process go slow, but i feel like if the first test piece goes well then ill figure out how to make another drying arm thingy (they all need to fit under the plastic box i fashioned into a low humidity no dust drying box)
