so i had the same because when i was 19 (stupid) i got my cat from craiglist and she was INFESTED with ringworm that i couldnt get rid of it for over 9 months. i had to get otc & prescription topical ointment for myself, oral antifungal medication, but ultimately the only thing that fully rid me of it was defense antifungal bar soap. if it comes back for you, i definitely recommend it!!!

So the reason the toads hang out at night is that they’re nocturnal. Also, they’re cold blooded so at night they’re slower and it’s easier to catch them. Same thing if you see toads early in the morning.

Can you guys do an episode about meat? With Alex being a butcher, Kay having great taste and Ik she's got to be a good cook. I would love to hear about all the stuff you have learned at your new job, all your favorite cuts of meat, favorite recipes for those cuts, what to avoid what is under/over rated? Where will you never order a steak/burger, where's your favorite burger/steak. Any meat you will never try? Theres so many options that you could get into. Also for the non meat girlies, maybe you could talk about your favorite meatless recipes if you have tried any meat substitutes. I'm trying to lose weight so I need to fall in love with protein again and I could see this influencing me to give up the carbs.

OMGGG I was the first caller featured and I feel like a STAH. Alex read me down, but it’s rlly so true. I feel like a lot of the time my perfectionism is just a thinly veiled excuse to procrastinate, but the fear of making something that is shit is genuinely there. I do agree that I probably just need to take this opportunity to get inspired and educated and figure out what it is I really want to say. (And not think ab things so damn much) It made me feel so seen when Kay started talking ab her twenty unfinished essays (glad I’m not the only one) and I so wish I had a group of creatives to bounce things off of and encourage and I KNOW living in Kansas isn’t a valid excuse for not having very many diverse creative friends but it rlly is so rotted here sometimes, but I’m ab to be 21 so maybe it’s time to start rlly trying to meet ppl 😫

Update on the ringworm: I had to take sulfur baths and wash my sheets everyday but I stopped the ringworm outbreak 😭 by the will of some god my cats and partner were spared There is a leak in the wall that the roommates gf landlord eventually handled thank goodness

I think a lot of parents unknowingly set their kids/babies up for failure. It's rare for a baby to sit still for 30mins to an hour. It's unreasonable for the kid, unfair to them and also others. I didn't start taking my kids out to restaurants until they could handle it and when we do go out it's to a place like Red Robin. I think you said it best the last time you guys touched on this, you said something along the lines of "know your limitations" & some parents just don't know or care.
