what alex was talking about "everything has become a staple" is honestly so true imo. we jokingly call that "old poor" vs "new poor" here, where people who are new to poverty do not know how to stretch a dollar. I make under the poverty line but I grew up living with my grandma who lived through the great depression, my life in poverty today is eons more privileged then her life as a middle class individual in the great depression was. She literally died with a hoard of 50+ year old expired canned goods because she just couldn't let anything go after her experiences

Here are some dog chew suggestions: - beef cheek (I like the slices for small dogs) - lamb ears - tendons (turkey or beef) - collagen sticks - cow tails Another enrichment item that takes a while is the woof pupsicle, my dogs are obsessed + I love that I can make my own popsicles for it. I honestly find decent priced chews at TJ maxx (just make sure they are limited ingredient) or buying them online. Petco is so predatory with their prices!
