Thank you again! I can't help but correct another assumption: I offer plans and partial payments only in 2 mutually inclusive cases. One is for returning clients who did pay fully before. The other is for the commissions that I like and think make my main audience and patrons happy. It's a team effort - I'm able to offer plans now for comms I like because I have monthly patrons who chip in to see I draw it. For comms that aren't up my alley I can only charge triple now (bc money would be the sole motivation, unlike with other stuff). Pricing all themes and genres equally was my mistake and it was holding me down.

Thank you for understanding! The popular vote is the last resort though. I won't fully disclose my judgement system but the consistent support through out the year plays a role. The was #1 lesson from the last raffle, that rewarding non-frequent patrons is a loser strategy (a lot of people who got their prize did not stay to support me after they got their prize). I'm not suggesting you should pledge 12 times a year, god forbid. But knowing that I'm not a guro artist specifically, it would make sense for you to support artists who do specify in that genre, the people who'd motivate your engagement better 🙂
