Actively having to remember to breath in and out and still feeling like I'm not getting enough oxygen whilst I listen to this statement/commiserate with the drowner=a special kind of fear for me. And then the choice to keep drowning because even that is better than feeling so exposed and vulnerable beneath the Eye's gaze. Fuck. Jon and Basira's banter, I missed it so much!! the foreshadowing at the end couldn't have been more obvious if you put huge glowy signs up. I have always liked the Archivist and Bashira's odd friendship of sorts which made this episode bittersweet, the lead up to the climatic ending and these two sharing one last conversation before they go into battle. Can you tell I'm still not prepared for these final five stories?

This is excellent! Loved the horrifying ocean statement. And how as terrifying as the ocean is, coming out was worse. Then listening to Jon try to explain the past bit of time to Basira was really funny. The Mr. Spider statement going on in the background at the end was fantastic and sets a terrifying mood

I could be wrong, but I'm beginning to get a sense that web Martin that is somehow triple aligned, and has been manipulating Jon this whole time might be true. Jon never did read his mind, and Martin does like spiders. I hope I'm wrong though, that would be heartbreaking.
