For me I don't really enjoy Matt and Rowan as much as the other two tied couples we have gone on the journey with but I think that kind of happens with everything. Every aspect of a comic, book, show or movie can't be for everyone. I'm happy to wait a bit longer to find out what happens with our main couple (though it is slowly killing me due to my own impatience) even if Matt and Rowan aren't my cup of tea I'm glad to see so many other people are enjoying them.

I understand the impatience because I absolutely love the main couple. However, the second couple are also adorable and need love as well. Please write the story as you see fit. You are the only one who knows the true story and how to tell it. Honestly, that build up of impatience just means you are doing a fantastic job of creating suspense. Now they know how Jessie feels :p

For me it makes it more of a world than just a story. Sometimes I’ll be over here wondering what’s this person doing in the mean time. So I love that you’re including those parts of the story. We get to see them all developing together. And I love that even some of the characters from the other story make appearances because again. It’s a whole freaking world I love it. It’s always fun when an author or creator decides to develop more to the “side” characters. Gives me more things to explore in the world.

WTF?!?!??? What is wrong with those people??? "Oh no the story I liked now has TWO ADORABLE COUPLES instead of only ONE and I don't like that"? That's just nonsense. Plus Matt and Rowan's relationship acts as a nice foil to Yahn and Jessie's. It's a good writing choice to include them.

I love Matt and Rowan’s dynamic! You’re really good at writing healthy communication and honesty between partners. That’s my favorite part of a good romance because it’s realistic with what I want in a relationship. Plus Matt and Rowan are pretty central to the story as foils to Jesse and Yahn’s relationship, they kinda provide an important “standard” to compare to.

Bruh what the fuck and here I thought Matt and Rowan were stealing the show! I loved their section because it got heavy into some concepts that really resonated with me. I can't believe people would talk shit about them, don't listen to them! Ugh I hate when people criticize other people's art for arbitrary reasons like that. It's YOUR story to tell what the hell gives them the right? It's like how whiny people were when the ending of *Steven Universe* didn't go the way they wanted, like the audacity to tell a creator what they should do with their work. 🙄

There hasn't been any characters in any of your works that I've disliked, and I don't anticipate that I will anytime soon. They all have great aspects to them while also having flaws that make sense and arcs that help form them into the great characters they are. It definitely helps that I'm a sucker for a good romance story and all three of the main Tied couples are adorable together!

The only reason I can figure that people don't want side characters is because they're not able to process multiple storyline. I like the change in pace and characters because it gives me time to think and process what all has happened. Especially with the conflict currently with the main boys. I genuinely love all the Soulmate/Fate worldbuilding, especially in the stories you tell, so it doesn’t matter to me whose story you are telling. It’s all the same universe and I love how you portray the different relationships and hardships they have to overcome ❤️ And I agree, I think because Patreons are here genuinely interested in your work, you’ll prob get a nicer response than the more public community. I think one of the things that is really compelling about your writing in Fate AU is how you portray the different ways that people process it. As much as I'm more invested in Yahn and Jessie as a romance, Matt and Rowan's story is really complex and beautifully told and has value outside of its romantic theme. I love how through this AU you explore how our sense of identity is constantly challenged by other people and by the universe, and all the while the characters maintain their agency through it. You're doing great sweetie 😭

I think that you have done a really wonderful job of building both stories out. I also firmly trust your ability to tell the story you want and that you have a plan.
