Current doctrinal role and missions
Organization and equipment from the team to battalion-level, including company-level task organization options and non-T/O organizational changes made in some battalions due to space constraints on MEUs
The experimentation LAR Bns are currently doing, as they wish to restructure them into Mobile Reconnaissance Battalions to align with maritime reconnaissance in the Indo-Pacific
Apologies for taking so long, the research portion took particularly long because I was going back and forth with a lot of Marines over email/DMs

Seems like the USMC is still in the exploratory phase. Given force disparity, I'd assume they'll take the specialist and support roles for everyone in the First Island Chain: detecting submarines and enemy boats; calling fires; and supporting QRF where needed. It's hard to imagine the US doing anything other than spamming missiles into a Taiwan gambit given the objective is primarily defensive. Though I suppose all 3 USMC concepts are geared towards this goal in some fashion.
