I didn't have the skills nor the confidence to depict certain scenes I had in mind when I first made this story, but I felt like I could try to tackle them now. I'm happy with how it came out, even if it's a pretty gruesome scene. If you want to see the inspiration for the scene, check out episode 16 from NPCs Can Save the World Too! when Lucian first thinks about the whole conundrum with the guys. It's one of the things that has stuck with him the longest, but now he's resolved what he wants to do, for better or for worse. How the others will react to this is yet to be seen.
And for anyone who would prefer to avoid looking at this episode because of the excessive blood, let me know if I should start to provide written summaries of possibly triggering episodes so that they can be skipped by anyone who needs it without losing bits of the plot.

It's so good. The summary of the first chapters of NPC is on point. I love the deepness you gave to these characters and I can't wait to follow more of their adventures and life 💙
Thank you so much 🥺 and right? I always think about how it must actually be for someone to isekai and it just sounds incredibly distressing, especially in a scenario like his. But he’s trying to having a good time still even with all these things stacked against him

I couldn't imagine being in his place. Losing your entire life in place of another (even if you may not have been enjoying it), stressing about people you've come to care about because you know things but have zero idea how to prevent them, just having to pretend to be ok all the time....I just wanna give him the biggest hug, wrap him in a weighted blanket, and cry with him and let him know it'll be ok. You conveyed his emotions so well I got teary 🥹
