Well there are various things that mushroom could be, some mushrooms are imbued with nymph magic that makes those that eat them unbelievably horny, some mushrooms are the property of the fae who could do something naughty like possess a particular body part of their "victim". Could be both of these things or it could be something different. Armatessla is a vast world
