Back to the 1810s and new kind of costume (WIP)

Here are a fews pics taken last week with a new "costume" that I'll wear in the September roleplay. I wanted to go back to cozy/comfy vibes and decided that this video would take place at bedtime... in a nightgown. I've always wondered why we don't see more ASMR videos in nightwear? 😄
I worked with a seamstress who had already made some of my costumes ("A Christmas Carol", "Getting you ready for the ball", "A French Court Game"), asking her to recreate Marianne Dashwood / Kate Winslet's nightgown from the 1996 "Sense and sensibility" movie -see last pic-. I'm not sure this costume was actually historically accurate but I wanted long sleeves and this typical Regency high bustline, so it was perfect!
She did a wonderful job with the pattern but since we worked remotely, it doesn't fit perfectly and I'll have to touch up the shoulders / sleeves that are a bit too large.
I don't know what the set will look like exactly yet, but I already have many movie scenes in mind to inspire me! 😀 The video will probably be released at the end of September.

I was hoping a new regency video without (dare) asking. What a great idea to do it in a nightgown. Now i wonder as you do why there isn't more ASMR video in nightwear :) it'll make complete sense ! Can't wait. The costume of this S&S are incredibles ! Great inspiration
