Yo ! I use rigify which is built into blender ! But it you peep this tut i just dropped ( the hair one) i talk about how to add custom bones to auto rigs ! I think auto rigs are great and help save time by creating easy to use rigs fast but knowing how to rig and create bones will help you better create custom rig elements like rigged hair ! SO to answer simply try rigify if your not liking mixamos and to get hair bones watch this tutorial or any tut online about adding custom bones and weight painting !

Hey Alec, I am trying to rig my character but mixamo isn’t working so I am looking at auto rig pro and rigify, price doesn’t matter to me I just want what you suggest, I would like to be able to have posable hair, what would you choose?
