Demons Within Update 9: New interface changes preview

Small previews today! I know that previews of something as technical as settings menus aren't as exciting as new character sprites or CGs and such, but as part of Update 9, Blain and I worked hard on finally making these menus work in tandem with the game's theme as a whole.
Although in menus functionality precedes appearance, I believe that having nice menus that work with the theme improves the game experience as a whole and is an important step to making the game as good as it can be. Blain and I had some leeway with not as much art being needed for the current update, so we went for it. Well... I mean. Not as much art being needed anymore, as Update 9's CGs was quite an endeavor of itself....
Anyway, enjoy the small preview for what it's worth! Starting from Update 9, no more meh-looking default Ren'py menu looks and from Update 9 forward we'll get to enjoy in-theme looks for everything in the game!
The coming of Update 9 draws closer and closer, devlog coming soon, so look forward to it very soon!

I took note of your request and I'll see what I can do! I'll put it in my list of things to see and I'll think if there's a way I can implement at some point it depending on how hard it is or how much work it'll be! Upon doing a quick research to have at least an idea of how I would do it I learned that hovering your mouse over a save and pressing the Delete key does give you the option to delete them and it does work in Demons Within, so maybe that might also serve as an option until I can get to something integrated in the interface!

That's cool. Pretty is always a plus. A feature for the saved menu that would be helpful is being able to delete saved progress... Unless it's already there and I just don't know where it is lol. I was the kid reading choose your own adventure with my finger stuck in every branch So I could go back... I do the same thing when I'm saving the game lol
