Announcing the AMP Feature Bounty Program!
The AMP Bounty programme is a way for independent developers to contribute to AMP and be financially rewarded for their work by taking advantage of AMPs open API and SDK to implement new modules and plugins for other users to use. We're largely going to be funding this using the funds raised thro...

New in AMP 2.0.2 - Integrated SCP/SFTP server!
This new embedded SCP/SFTP server replaces the old FTP(S) server. This system is much easier to work with, requiring only a single port to operate (rather than **17** for the old system by default!). It also automatically generates a highly secure keypair for you on first startup, so it's secure...

Upcoming changes to the user system
One of the issues that has come up as people have been using AMP more and at larger scales is that of the same username existing in multiple places, or rather - the inability to do this.Right now if you create a user inside a single instance, that username cannot be used anywhere else. So you couldn...

Third AMP tutorial - Windows installation!
For our third tutorial we've covered installing AMP on Windows. At the same length as the Linux guide there's a few more steps but it ultimately takes roughly the same amount of time to install. Spot where we saved time be re-using parts of the script and voice recordings!
Another day, another video tutorial!
This one demonstrates creating a Minecraft server within AMP. What do you think we should cover next? No outtakes this time I'm afraid! :(

What is the AMP Console Assistant (AMPCA), and why does it exist?
The AMP Console Assistant is possibly the weirdest and least understood component of AMP. It sits there hidden under the hood doing its own thing, mostly invisible and unnoticed. But surely it has some purpose. What does it do, and why does AMP need it?This is first of a series where I talk about so...
Well that was unexpected...
Thanks to the phenomenal backing of our first Kratos-tier backer, we've blown through not just one but *two* of our goals! So now both MySQL/MariaDB and VoIP/TS support have been added to the development queue! We're now getting close to the point where having an additional staff member start...
New Goal - MariaDB/MySQL Support!
For the second time now we're changing our $900 goal because we managed to deliver the feature regardless. So this time we took a look at some of the most requested features that would be useful to users but that would also require a lot of development time to get right. So our new goal for this ...
Testing out AMP Enterprise Features
I know a lot of you recently started backing in anticipation of the AMP Enterprise Release which is coming soon and want to start testing features out early. In anticipation I've written up some documentation on how you actually activate ADS (which can't normally be done) to enable the featur...

Aarch64/ARM64 and Raspberry Pi is here!
As of today, GetAMP.sh will 'just work' on Ubuntu 19.10 or newer for aarch64!A few caveats for now: It doesn't know which modules will and won't actually run, so it'll let you try and create instances that will never run on aarch64 systems such as srcds instances It's only ha...
Aarch64/ARM64 and Raspberry Pi progress!
We've got the latest build of AMP (1.9.6.0) working on ARM, this time with the full datastore backend functioning correctly (which was previously a blocker for getting ADS to run)On top of that we've got our build system working more reliably for aarch64 builds so that we can build and ship ...
Wallpaper!
Just because. Served as a PNG, free from compression artefacts :)
Instance Templating - Make once, deploy many.
One of the last major hurdles to getting AMP Enterprise Edition released has been implementing a sane way for hosts to define a template that new instances are based upon. Containing information about default configuration and settings, as well as whether or not that instance should have a new user ...
Time for a new module!
A simple decision...
Integrated FTP Support - Finally!
We've been working for some time on how to embed proper FTP support within AMP. This allows you to login with your normal AMP credentials. For now 2FA isn't supported. So you'll have to disable this to login via FTP. But we hope to have something nicer in place to make this saner soon.

It seemed unfair to dangle the Raspberry Pi goal so close to all of you, a mere few tens of dollars away, but not deliver it. This morning our new Raspberry Pi 4B (4GB RAM) arrived. This afternoon, AMP was running on it!This is a super early version, held together with string and duct tape. It's...
Revisiting 'Friends and Family' licencing.
Last month we discussed the issue of AMP licencing to host servers for friends and family. And since then we've continued to look at the issue.Rather than making the licencing situation even more confusing by rolling out yet another AMP edition, we've instead decided that it's best to ro...
