Generative Musical Instruments in Max For Live - Part 3 - Chords and Polysynth
🕑 Added 2024-04-25 17:00:08 +0000 UTCHello everyone. Now we are really talking. Generative polysynths in Max. Excited about this episode and so much more to explore, but it's still early doors so lets find our feet. This device not only generates chords, but also generates waveforms for the polysynth in realtime. Nice. Download attached and see you for part 4 where we will look at chopping up loops in a generative fashion.

🍍Really enjoying this series! Are you planning on doing a video or two about audio effects?

Never thought I would get into max, this series finally got me started! Excited to see where it goes

I think it’s cause sometimes the buffer bit generates samples only in the positive or negative ranges which probably isn’t great but oh well.

🍍 Sounds really great! I’d be curious to find out what it is that’s making the waveform look slightly strange like that. I’ve had that kind of thing happen before even though things sound fine, and it’s always been a mystery. Fantastic work here! Thanks very much!
