Thank you for your patience this month—I had a very painful breakdown a couple weeks ago due to the collapse of a relationship, and it's better now and things were put back together somewhat, but it totally killed my productivity and my schedule kind of broke down. I have one chapter finished but unedited, and the rest... well, we'll see how I do.
That said, I'm really happy to be getting back into writing. Sometimes a break does me good! If I miss 5 chapters in January, maybe I'll find a way to make it up to you all in February. :P
Anyways, I wanted to just casually gauge your thoughts on something. This is not a question about future charged content—this Patreon will almost certainly remain a mostly pure-Cloistered Lands-based account, with some occasional deviation being the exception, not the rule. It's more just something I'm curious about in case I decide to write stuff outside the Patreon.
The question is: What would your level of interest be if I dipped into writing erotica in a new, modern fantasy setting? So, modern day Earth, but obviously with a lot of fantastical quirks, like hypnotic suggestions hidden in popup spam and spooky tentacle monsters out in the Louisiana Bayou.

Even though I’m both a long-time fantasy-setting nerd and mind-control smut aficionado, yours is practically the only content I’ve ever read that actually makes the overlap of those two things work. Usually, authors who work in this space end up relying on the magic aspect of fantasy as the deus ex machina that makes all the seductions take (and keep) hold- in other words, to compensate for their own inabilities to write such scenes in a manner that is convincing when it comes to the power of the seduction itself. You, however, write your seductions so wonderfully that one never *needs* to suspend disbelief in that area. I guess what I’m saying is, I know I’d probably end up giving in to most of your characters with or without any magic involved. So god yes, try any setting that takes your fancy- personally, I’m imagining something inspired by the work of Bill Ward. Glad to hear things are settling down- remember, the talent’s health is job one! <3

I'm thinking of that sort of failed The Secret World MMO setting. The game wasn't great, but the setting was SO GOOD. Something along those lines would fit where you are going well. And like everyone else, whatever you write is gold.

I can't speak for your other readers (maybe they will, though), but I'm just here for good smut. Your seduction scenes are great and your writing is of a much higher quality than most of the stuff that exists catering to my... Interests. Obviously you've put a lot of work and care into developing the Cloistered Lands and making this setting great, and it shows, but I'd personally love to see different things from you, particularly if that's something you're wanting to explore anyways. And as long as you maintain that quality of writing and delightful sense of seduction, I'd be happy to pay for your exploration into these new ideas and settings too!
