my parents are both professional voice actors (my mom does mostly commercial work and my dad voices english dubs of anime) and it’s a pretty great gig! commercial voice over pays surprisingly well, even though the market is really over saturated with actors since everyone got home studios during covid. also, vo actors make a lot of money at meet and greets and cons. you really just show up in sweatpants and do silly voices. also bedtime stories were VERY engaging as a child
