If you do the ant could you make the original ant a little thicker? 1 out 5 ants I print the legs break off on to the bed.

it might me worth trying some of the dual or tri colour filaments, they work whatever orientation and give a nice effect viewed from different angles. They basically are a filament that has 2 or 3 colours right along their length rather than a gradient that changes over time

I will vote for it next time. Have a construction program at the school I teach at and I know the ant will be a hit.
