Sounds about right. I had been concerned about some world-covering threat. Looks more like the post-apocalyptic world has been divided into territories by magical survivors. Reasonable enemy, defeating her means she'll be gone, but a few years from now the dome will probably be in the middle of a supernatural turf war as the neighbors expand into the freed space.
