I love it when you start looking at a character you thought you understood in another angle! My advice is to do a little less comparing Lelouch to Light! Because although they seem like twins on the surface, I think you’ll be shocked on just how different the two really are!

The Gawain is named for Sir Gawain, who, according to legend and like Lancelot, was one of King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table. Historically, it's thought that he was an earlier Welsh legendary character who was incorporated into Arthurian Legend. On another point which I don't know if it's true but is very entertaining, it's been suggested that as tales of King Arthur circulated outside England, Lancelot started off as basically a "fanfic Mary Sue character" (the French guy who just walks in, is super-cool and out-fights everybody, and is studly enough to get the king's wife in his bed) who, through generations of retelling, became a central part of the mythos.

The Gawain (though just a prototype) is probably the most technologically advanced Knightmare Frame we have seen so far with the Lancelot and the Guren trailing just a bit behind. This frame probably would be the GOAT if it did have a transporting beam that Kenny had speculated during this episode LOL. It is interesting when you have supernatural elements mixed with a mecha anime.

The new Knightmare is called Gawain. As in the knight of the Round Table, Sir Gawain. Along with Sir Lancelot. The flying battle ship is called Avalon, the name of the island King Arthur was taken to after his death. All of the Britannian royals have a "Knights of the Round Table" theme going on.

The island from the beginning of episode represents neutral space so lelouch was acting how he would if everything was simple and we get a taste of how things could be if not for the likes of their father that’s all the island represents

You know a migraine is a common symptom of pregnancy. So if Kenny & Montana are having a boy how about naming him Lelouch Letts aka L2 lol. Has a nice ring to it. Just like Kenny to name his son after the best chess player in anime. Hehehe.

i love all these wild theories you two come up with! as someone who's seen this show so many times, i find it incredibly interesting to see the perspective of someone completely new to it trying to theorize why things are happening. obviously i can't confirm or deny any of what you said, but like i said i find it fascinating to hear
