The public pool closest to me growing up was like an hour by community bus (me, my brother, 4 old ladies going into town to fuck shit up) ... the pool canteen was great, spend 3 bucks and get all sorts of fizzy sour lollies that sort of taste like shit but are so sugary you got the buzz
