I have a couple of different smaller scope game ideas. As far as visual novels go, that's usually the format that is simplest (to start), but I am heavily leaning towards some simple gameplay, weather it be interactive background environments/ inventory items, or a dating mechanic of some kind. Maybe for the first one, it will be pretty contained, and focus on a single character, but int he future I'd like to do a game with many characters. We'll see!
