🕑 Added 2024-06-06 08:15:19 +0000 UTCDaily Livestreams
Sutton June continues, and we're delighted to be transmitting daily livestreams from the site. These streams are an opportunity to share a snapshot of the action in real time as it unfolds, and will be in addition to the main coverage we are also capturing.
PLEASE NOTE:
Exact timings for all livestreams may vary slightly from the schedule. Please keep a look out for updates.
Some livestreams will be transmitted with audio commentary, while some may have vision only and no audio.
If you can't make it live, don't worry – a replay will be available to watch at your leisure afterwards.
360-vision
This will be a 360-degree livestream, allowing you to rotate and explore the footage from every angle.
Open the video livestream to watch in YouTube, by clicking on the title link at the top of the video.
While watching the video on a computer click and drag using the mouse or tracker pad: up, down, left and right to get a full 360-degree view in real time! You can also zoom in or out.
Depending on your connection speed, you may need to adjust the video quality by clicking on the cog icon at the bottom of the YouTube window.
If using a phone or other mobile device, it should work by simply rotating the screen.

I’m on site but I think it’s my browser that’s the problem.

Each layer down is being peeled back extremely slowly and carefully - in an almost forensic approach - to ensure that everything is recorded and nothing missed.
Joakim Johansson
Brilliant, watched and seems this layer had little to show, who is the dig manager?

Nice to see the detectorists out there. I’m wondering what they found!

Hi, please could you describe the issue and we'll see if we can help.

And we were there filming it! Watch this space for more details. In the meantime, you can watch our previous film here: https://youtu.be/G6Ytbc1cBOM

I have the same : Rotating and audio fine, but no zooming. Samsung Galaxy.
Vanessa
I can’t view any of them for some reason.

Thanks for the reply, but it must be my phone. Even on full screen, when I try to zoom in using 2 fingers, it just follows the moving finger. It doesn't zoom in any closer. Thanks anyway!
Time Team
You may need to ensure you're in full screen while viewing in YouTube. Depending on device being used, from there, you should be able to scroll with mouse wheel or zoom with two fingers. Does that work for you?
thrushgreen
Please forgive an old non techy, but I can't see how to zoom in! The different directions, yes, but in and out? 😁

Join us for another livestream this afternoon! Don't forget, these livestreams are an additional extra to get a sense of what's happening in real time direct from the site. We're sharing them to complement the main coverage and interviews, which will provide more context about the dig.
