Thanks for this. I found out the answer to one of my questions - Time Team will be at Sutton Hoo for a month! I suspect it's going to be hard to distill this dig down to an episode in 3-day format. Maybe we can look forward to several episodes on this. IMHO the Anglo-Saxons were superb metalworkers, and artists in general. I can see the attraction for Anglo-Saxon specialists.

The bucket reminds me of a Time Team dig from 20+ years ago when they were investigating a site in Hampshire where a detectorist had found another ancient bucket with a very similar inscription on it: “use this, lady, for many happy years.”

Thank you for the clean version but I prefer the real, raw and live version. For this viewer it feels more like I am there with the dig, more experiential. Rather be there helping out. Whatever though, it's the best.
