What if Walgrave is gay? That could be a lock of man's hair and a painting of a man. He says "she" has a mustache. You said Daeron was gay so that rang a bell. We always have to remember the unreliable narrators.

Thanks Susan! Great catch on Maester the donkey and their previous visit to Oldtown. I'm still hoping they go there again during the main D&E series.

Great breakdown of the chapter. I really enjoyed listening. I'm sure you saw the essay on Wars and History of ASOIAF, entitled Chasing the Dragon, Part 1: Analyzing an Alchemist. I found that essay very interesting. It gives a different spin to some of Leo Tyrell's comments and actions for sure. I'm hoping the author will follow up. Plus I just wanted to mention that Dunk & Egg have already visited Oldtown. In The Sworn Sword they mention it and Aemon gave them the donkey they named Maester. I look forward to your next chapter episode. I expect it will probably continue the Davos "The North Remembers" chapter.
