No one except the 3 adults there know what happened with any certainty. It’s all conjecture for entertainment careful reading of captions aside…

Maybe it's a stupid question but I've seen some AI tools that people use to improve the quality of video and audio of old footage, I was wondering if you looked into that or if it's too much trouble? And yeah, on the serious side, it’s a statement that just makes one go “What!?” Will is honestly such an interesting case study on his own, at times seeming so defeated, then randomly getting confident, and then doing things like this, almost as if he’s trying to win over friends at the pub or something. I can legitimately hear that in your voice, as a quick one second cutaway, maybe just the one-liner “that’s *not* the definition of terrorism” Not that I wouldn’t have enjoyed it, but I think you made the right call — letting him finish his thought and let the the viewer take in the lunacy of what he just said.. I think it was perfect. It made me be like “am I tripping or did he just say..” and then the narrative cut in at just the right point, to validate that very thought 👏

Something I thought about including for the longest time but eventually passed on because it was to snooty was: He's actually wrong about "that's the definition of what a terrorist is" Maybe by the loosest, informal usage you could argue it's technically valid - the same way all dictionaries now accept "literally" as an enhancer. But if you're trying to be at all proper about it, "terrorist" necessarily means one who commits violence in order to further some sort of political/ideological cause.

What a story. Looking forward to hearing your discussion with the prosecutor. There is no doubt in my mind that Will was/is not guilty of conspiring to kill Savanna, so I would like to hear the argument against him. Unless Will is as good of an actor as Brooke, I think the most likely scenario is that he walked into Savanna deceased or nearly deceased and decided in that moment he was going to give up everything he could to protect Brooke, even past the point in that interrogation room when he knew there was nothing left that he could do. That being said, I would not be surprised to learn Will was heavily involved in covering up the murder of Savanna after coming home on the day she was killed. Brooke may have even been telling the truth that it was Will who was responsible for strangling Savanna to death. It's with that level of passion and dedication from Will that I believe such an obvious pair of suspects were able to mislead investigators for so long. Noticed a minor error in the captioning at 1:12:25, where Brooke says "It is whatever! Yes it [is]!" I also believe at 1:18:25 Will is saying "I love Brooke so much it wouldn't even matter if we ever had a baby." Nonetheless great content and analysis as always. Looking forward to the next, no matter how long it takes!

That's kind of how I look at it re Brooke. Speculative motives to lie notwithstanding, I just don't think you can trust her far as you can throw her, and you also can't put past her completely deranged and/or malicious reasoning that could lead her to lie on the stand. Will's version rings truer to me - but really, who knows. I talked more about that sort of stuff with the prosecutor on the case and will be uploading that conversation later in the week :)

For me, Brooke lies so easily that the pendulum swings alllll the way to the other side. An overcorrection, perhaps, but I'd instinctiveIy discount whatever she says. The pictures of the child had me tearing up. I'm glad to see her (apparently) happy... but what a baggage she will carry.
