sit down behind a computer THIS DAY and get started. everything you need is free and at your fingertips. There really is no shortcut to learning this stuff, you just have to sit down and do it. Just like I did- sit down, download blender, watch a tutorial and then watch more if you dont know how to do something. Do it for 5 years and youll be where I am (this is a response to another person asking me about similar stuff) Im just saying this as a blanket statement for everybody: There is nothing special about me or my animations. I didnt go to any schools or have some genius mentor, I sat down behind a computer and worked for years. My animations dont use any software or technique that isnt already widely used by most other 3D people. the only difference between me and ANY other person is 5 years of experience, doing this full time. and i suppose taste, but you cant learn that haha 😂 and no matter what it is, there is an audience for yours anyway so

As someone newly learning Blender- for a year now, and still an amateur, I'd love to know some of the secrets and get some helpful tips and hints on creating a great animation on par with yours.

I could just download some library and paste moan.mp3 over the animations, but I dont see the point in that. If I want to do sound I want to do it properly- get good voice actors, get that good acting, find good sound effects, take care editing it all. Not to mention, I would actually have to manage all the communication and pay for it. That time starts adding up fast. And also... I just really hate doing it! I hate finding and editing sound, I hate having to decide between voice actors and directing them (not because of the voice actors, theyre great), I hate all of it. So I avoid it when I can. Sorry to all the sound enjoyers. But the flipside is that I WILL make sound for a lot of animations. kelly, ellie, calebi and rue (the marten) animations will get sound

How complicated is the sound design process for things like this? Always been curious if it takes quite a sizeable amount of time, also awesome stuff ❤️

To guess what the change is, it seems like there's more bounce in the character's proportions. Both videos the characters look more plump. Just my guess >_<

Especially when you compare this video with the long caleb animation youll see what im talking about I guess you didnt get it exactly, but I realized after posting that not many people could get a technicality like that. Just don’t hurt yourself on these projects, I look forward to the big one and the smaller ones are nice but don’t ruin your own sanity. That being said. I do like this little short namely since I love the size dif with Caleb here~ helps too I like fennecs.
