I just rewatched it. The only part that strikes me as a little off is it's more work than usual to read her. Most of your animations have really good facial expressions, so when looking back it sort of stuck out that she either didn't seem into it, or didn't express that she was into it very well. The little nose kiss at then end was a nice touch (I only noticed it just now), but in the lead up she seemed sort of bored/uninterested. That might be intentional though. In any case a little more expressiveness would be nice.

She looks great and I wouldn't mind more of her, but my own preferences sit with your shorter gals, kelly is still my favorite.

Sad to hear about the long animation. But I understand. That said, If you are thinking about using existing characters, I would love to see the cat Marten and his girlfriend get a proper long animation. You have done so many shorts with the pair I think they deserve a dedicated project. Also very happy to see you plan on adding sound to previous animations in the meantime, especially the semi longish ones you have done. Talking about the Marten Cat, I really am looking forward to the one you did with the goth girl he was with get sound.

I think about that pretty often, I do get help with things I cant do myself (VA), but when it comes to fully outsourcing the menial work and becoming the "director", I dont think I have enough money to support that, not sure if I would want to either. And if I were to share the workload the animations would be too inconsistent. This genuinely isnt me being down on myself - this is an objective thing - a professional junior animator can DESTROY me. Im a jack-of-all-trades. I can do a lot but im not great at any of it

I'm aware of that :D, I meant that there are always people out there who can help, be it with rendering, VA, etc. You don't have to destroy yourself alone, that's what I meant. :)

Obviously your own view of your art is yours to decide. But if it helps I can say she is another in your catalogue of fantastic work on design and character animation. I know at times it can feel like all you see are the things you feel could have been better, but pleas have faith in the wizardry you have been pulling off

Giant hair is interesting, almost wierd but the animation quality was so good It didn't put me off any. <3
