Ben literally representing most of Stay when they first heard this song. Bopping away and then you tune into the lyrics are like “woooow let’s goooo..…hands in the air….bounce bounce….hang on… is he saying.….. uh huh…yep not just my mind….” Wonder what covert story he has for this one 😆 Chan’s personality is,imo very sweet, adorable 🥰 smiley and he’s usually laughing/joking with the guys and trying to get cuddles 🥰 , but at the end of the day he’s also a human, a man in his mid 20’s, with wants and needs like most of us or many people and as he’s matured so too has his songwriting. Whether or not the lyrics are directly based off of his personal experiences doesn’t matter. We (well some of us I’m sure) can relate to these lyrics just like “Red Lights” and “Drive” (dude managed to slip intercourse in the song by using “in the course” as lyrics) Also, let’s not forget than Chan is a huge fan of Rn’B music which is typically heavy with descriptive and sensual songs in nature. Lyrics aside though the actual beats with the song definitely get you moving. The build up to the drop and then that almost slow-mo breather, part where he’s singing “Locked in sight we’re in trouble 😈 “ On a side note Ben’s power strut to switch the light on after listening was epic! He’s too funny with the facial expressions and the moans. Very accurate though. Is it just me or does anyone else love when he says “Naughty, naughty”? I don’t mean it in a sexual way. It’s more the complete shift in his accent. I’m Irish so most any accent I hear that’s not Irish ☘️ ,or from England for that matter, sound so melodious to my ears.
