Thanks. I do still have work (and she will have school) but I'll be spending tomorrow (Sunday) with them for some family time. I'm taking most of July off from my day job in July as I've saved up too much leave, so I'll probably do something bigger with them then when it's possible to be completely "on vacation"

I've actually been considering it for sometime in July while the kids are on summer break. It feels a bit iffy though when you don't have set vacation days and that sort of thing

I meant to post yesterday but HOLY SHIT. That's super fucked up. Echoing the other sentiments here that you should definitely take time if you need it. Nobody needs any game so badly that they can't wait for a while longer while you go into angry bear mode if necessary. And if they think they can't, well fuck them anyway.

You really should not worry about the game for a week or more. Just take a vacation man go be with your daughter. We all can understand that and will wait without worries.

Have you considered taking a vacation and just not working for like a week? I mean, don't get me wrong - I wants me some content, but I'd rather it not come at the expense of someone else's well-being.
