It’s gotta be either Fryan or Lilia. No offense to Ghost, but Fryan carries a similar (if not higher) understanding of firmament and Lilia would make sense as one of the first past trialgoers Ethan met as the harpy monster.

Some of this I'll have to take a look at more extensively, thanks for bringing them up! 1. Versa's mentioned them a couple times whenever the POV swaps to her; note access has been restored for a while, I just never properly mentioned it. That's on me--I intended for access and functionality to slowly return as the Intermediary was repaired and that's how I wrote it, but I forgot to actually make a moment out of it. 2. In this specific instance, Versa is aware the loops have started because she cross-checks her notes whenever her memories seem unusual, and she's essentially opening every loop with memories of living her life with concrete blocks for feet accomplishing feats that should not be possible if she had concrete blocks for feet. It helps that the concrete Assimilation was relatively recent; initial changes are fast, but it's a while before memory changes become undetectable. Basically, she's dealt with Teluwat enough to know what to watch out for, and her baseline assumption is that new activity from him is an indication of loop shenanigans. (Plus the stuff below.) 3. About ten minutes? They can contact each other through the Interface, but rarely do it. The Tears are actually severe enough right now that most of them are more or less immediately checking their notes, and the decision to band together happened across multiple loops of conversation. It's bad enough that no one's saving their credits here. They're making a note of the number of Tears in each reset and the number of losses in each reset, and the numbers are only growing bigger each time. 4. Versa is a lot less stingy with her notes than others, and Trialgoers all usually have some basic speed/processing-based skills that mean they can act and react a lot faster than the baseline human. Feel free to hit me up in a chat if you'd like to discuss this further!

Ooh, another trialgoer coming up, exciting! I'm a bit confused about the mechanics of the Hestian trailgoers' interfaces though: 1. Notes If I recall correctly, Naru was complaining that he couldn't access notes after the intermediary was disabled. But Versa still has access to her notes? 2. How does Vera know the loops have started? If I recall correctly, Whisper did not know the loops had started (or at least Ethan was assuming as much? I can't quite recall). Hypotheses: a. Versa is obsessive about checking for the start of the loops, leaving herself very short notes constantly and checking against her memory. b. She notices that her credits suddenly jump [credits are not refunded across loops, right? and they still have some way to slowly earn credits?], this indicates the loops have started. c. She notices she suddenly has new skills [can the trialgoers still bank credits for skills?] c. She is in the right place at the right time and notices that the tears suddenly appear, and the severity means that she notices earlier. 3. Tears How much time has passed since the start of the loop this time? How do the Hestian trialgoers have time to contact each other and band together against the tears? And didn't the intermediary damage somehow interfere with tear tracking for the trialgoers or something? 4. Versa's firsthand experience & timeline. She doesn't seem as confused as I would expect from someone who was just dropped into the trials a couple hours ago and has only her notes to rely on. I'm confused what information the integrators gave to the Hestian trialgoers ahead of time, and how Versa doesn't stumble over lack of memories about the nuances of things in her notes.

I'm hedging my bets on GHO-07(?) being the trialgoer he wants. or maybe fyran. could be someone new too, if the relic gives info on each of the trialgoers.
