Picked option 1, since I would say I felt that way, but I wanted to comment to add some nuance, since there was plenty of great fan service IMO, just that it could have used a lil bit more to hit the correct balance, but it's nearly there. I really enjoyed the story, it had a nice pace, wasn't too complicated, and it got some good laughs out of me (really love the goofy facial expressions they sometimes have)
