Since there were so many suggestions, I threw most of them into Wheel of Names to randomly pick (I excluded ones that I've seen along with first movies in series). But I also wanted four different sports categories to be represented in this poll, so I kept spinning until I had that.

I love Field of Dreams. I actually think a valid argument can be made that it's not really a "sports movie," (sort of like Jerry Maguire, which I also love). But I won't go into it until after a potential reaction.
