November Q&A Questions Needed + Perk Changes

I mentioned in the last Q&A that I paused charges for the month of November. I still wanted to do the q&a though! Speaking of which, I also wanted to take the time to change perks around a bit.
I also pitched in the last q&a the idea of commentary tracks released with some of my videos(mainly thinking pandora's box). I decided to go ahead with that, and sometime following release I'll be uploading that here on Patreon as an exclusive video for you all. Considering the base video is 2 hrs long, it'll be pretty lengthy I imagine!
I'm not really sure how to describe it - the goal is to be educational(editing tricks, video structure), but also lots of behind the scene stuff I'm sure. I guess I'll only really know when I sit down and record it.
So that will be added as an official perk, and just like the rest of the perks every tier will have access to it.
In exchange though, I was thinking of pausing the Q&A sessions or transitioning them to BadSeasonShow. Mainly because we've kind of done a lot, and we're running out of questions! We always have good questions, but quantity-wise I think we're starting to run out! I think q&a series like this will shine in a more public space where we simply have more to work with.
That being said, all of the q&a's exclusive to Patreon will remain exclusive, and viewable whenever you please.
So Q&As would return in the future - they would just be public on BadSeasonShow.
I don't like making decisions without feedback first though, so by all means let me know what you think of this! I haven't fully decided, but my thought process is that I think it will result in more interesting episodes at the end of the day. Of course if I do make this change, I will let you know ahead of time before the charge for December goes through(these happen at the 1st of every month).
Anyways, if you have any questions for this month, go ahead and leave them below. To avoid repeats, here is a FAQ that I've answered already in previous episodes.
Q: Will you stream again?
A: Since I last streamed I moved, and my internet has very low upload speeds. I can technically stream, but it would be very low quality, so until I get better internet in my area or I move, I don't have any plans to pickup streaming again.
Q: Will you play WoW again?
A: If they ever ease back on the cash shop's influence on the game I would think about it, and even then, only on my alternate channel, badseasonshow. I am very distrustful of Blizzard though, so the chances are very low!
Q: Where did you get your name from?
A: I'm afraid it's not terribly creative. I'm named after one of my favorite bands, Mad Season!
Q: Do you have any hobbies?
A: Outside of gaming my main hobbies are lifting weights, gardening, woodcarving and some piano here and there.
In the coming days I should be able to get a little sneak peak of the video uploaded for you(just the intro), so keep an eye out for that!

Do you ever get into a rut with gaming in general? I've been playing video games since my teen years (PC for the majority of that time, but more recently some console), and this last year in particular I've almost found myself bored with all of it. I got five games for Christmas last year that I quit playing some time in the middle of each. All five, just stopped and never went back. Right now I'm sitting here with 138 games in my Steam library, and probably close to that many again in other libraries or on physical media. And yet...! Nothing is catching my interest. It actually feels sad. :(

So WoW helped drive your video creating. I believe I recall you saying your first foray on Twitch was with Diablo III before eventually streaming with WoW. You listed some of your interests like gardening, weightlifting and even piano. Is there anything in the gaming world that has got you anywhere close to how you felt playing either of those games at this point? I, like you, have quit playing WoW and Diablo III and for some of the same reasons you did. But I have to admit, despite my feelings about what is going on at Activision-Blizzard, I am definitely curious/looking forward to Diablo Immortal and IV. Beyond that, I haven’t been gaming at all really.

No worries, man, I hear that - just thought I'd throw it out there since it could be a cool incentive to get some more patrons. That said having seen the new intro, I've got a good feeling about how it'll be received! Finger's crossed you get that YouTube Algorithm's Blessing buff before it drops.

Fingers crossed here as well! I honestly have no idea how people are going to react to the new direction. My hope is that with this first episode being about WoW, I'll be able to retain as many people as possible. I already have episode 2 lined up, but really only know for sure of its quality once I finish the script-writing portion. Interesting idea about Discord too - I'm not so sure I'm the right fit for it though. I'm a pretty shy/introverted person at heart so that might be a bit too much for me haha.

That sounds like a good idea - get some fresh blood asking questions to keep them interesting. I think it may be worth re-evaluating a couple weeks after Pandora's Box ep 1 releases, though. I'm hopeful that with the new series, you'll be able to reach a new audience and (fingers crossed) get some more patrons on here. Just spit balling ideas, but I think it'd be cool to try and breathe some new life into the Discord channel and enhance the perks there, too. At the risk of crossing a boundary you don't want to cross, hopping in a voice channel and having a patrons only, real-time Q&A every once in a while could be a really cool thing, too (but I get it if that's not something you'd be comfortable with, just throwing it out there). Just bringing these ideas up since I want to see you getting more support here on Patreon! Good luck.
