For the fantasy theme these are great as they are, but with some modification, they have great potential for the period of Alexander the Great and his Successors. In the earlier "Golden Age" of Greece and the Persian Wars of that time, the long Sarrissa Pike was not in use, and the large Hoplon shield was never used with the long Pike as it would be too cumberson. But these poses are perfect if you expand the line into the period of Alexander as I HOPE you will do!. There were still some infantry with the large shield and shorter spear, but most formed the new Pike Phalanx and carried a smaller size shield that could be worn over the shoulder so both hands could wield the long Pike. By the time of Alexander though , there were more modern helmet designs you would want to give them, and while some would still wear the metal muscle cuirass as shown, most would have the Linothorax of layered linen, leather, and scales..
