Tall boi gets taller
🕑 Added 2024-04-10 05:35:13 +0000 UTCMy friends, most of the basic construction is now done. What remains are some details and parts made from copper foil - the roof and some improvised weather shields seen in the original photo.
I also solved the issue with access to the interior by making the entire rear wall easily removable. However, I’ll probably have to paint the interior first, then glue and fill the wall, and paint the exterior. But we’ll see!
Also, I love the improvised nature of these old civilian subjects. The lowest steps on the sides are clearly not the original parts. And it wouldn’t surprise me if someone decided to replace a broken mesh screen with chicken wire!

Beautiful Martin . I must confess I’ve never seen anything quite like this . For its small size the diesel engine must be very powerful to haul trucks about. Wonder what the thinking behind the design was ? 🤔

The construction can get a bit tricky at times, and some parts definitely need a lot of clean-up! It's quite similar to Miniart kits.
