Just watched your video of the build . What strikes me is your constant build quality . Although obvious to some I think it’s amazing the quality of every build . Enjoyed watching you making wood . I never stop soaking up the information Martin πŸ™πŸ»

what a beautiful result here with this dark pinwash, the Kong comes to life...

This is looking absolutely incredible. The wood just adds so much visual texture and that camo on the turret looks wonderful. It looks like you haven't chipped yet. I was watching your old Sherman video again for inspiration and I noticed you had mentioned the controversy over weather sherman paint chipped. I have reference photos of some Shermans with chipped paint and it definitely chipped to that pale yellowish green color. Can share if needed as I took the photos myself.

The wood parts are looking fantastic. The washes have really made the details pop on this especially the casting marks. Great stuff Martin

Love how the washes are making objects pop and the overall finish looks natural . Still think the wood is so natural looking . Superb Martin πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Love the moment you switch the "Night Shift High Contrast" mode on. :)

Yea this is looking good. I just saw the build video on this subject and can not wait to see the paint and weathering video. Keep it going. Love to see what you do with the diorama. I will keep checking to see what you do.

I won’t pester you for further details, but it’ll be interesting to see how big you plan on making the base for it.

Saipan is a very specific island because it doesn't have the traditional jungle foliage you'd see on other islands, and the areas with higher elevation on the north side of the island actually look quite similar to a traditional European forest! But it'll be fun to sneak in a small palm tree in there somewhere.

Lookin good. I am currently working on a VW bug commission of sorts myself with lots of photo etch greenery and some paper ones as well. I’m waiting dubiously for the actual vignette for this one as it should be full of south sea foliage !
