📢 Update on VR Development & Our Path Forward

We want to take a moment to share with you, honestly and transparently, what’s been happening with the VR side of our project.
As some of you may already know, Epic Games (Unreal Engine) stopped officially supporting VR more than three years ago. This has created huge roadblocks for anyone trying to build VR games on Unreal today. The result? Every time a new headset comes out—like the Oculus Quest 3—massive incompatibilities appear. And it’s not just Quest 3: any VR headset update can break Unreal-based games, causing issues with controllers, visuals, or even making games unplayable.
This situation is incredibly frustrating, and here’s the truth: it’s not a lack of knowledge, it’s a lack of resources. Unreal’s VR tools are outdated, buggy, and in many cases completely broken. To put it in perspective: ironically, building a full multiplayer game in Unreal is easier than making VR work reliably. If our game were being built in Unity or Godot, VR would be smooth—but that’s not the case here.
⚠️ Why this matters
We know many of you have been waiting for VR content, and we deeply understand the frustration. But this is something beyond our control. Unless Epic Games decides to bring back VR support, there won’t be a “perfect fix.”
That being said—we refuse to let this stop us.
💡 Our Solution
To compensate, we’re shifting gears:
We’re bringing you non-VR games that run smoothly.
Our multiplayer game is already in an advanced stage of development, and progress has been incredibly fast. Unlike VR, this is an area where we have full knowledge and freedom, so we can move forward at high speed.
Here’s the ironic part: while VR is a constant uphill battle, the multiplayer side is moving so quickly that we could practically have a new game ready in just a week or two if we focus on it.

Keep in mind—we’re just three people. Three passionate developers who don’t need a huge team to deliver. Our pace has been slowed down only because of VR’s broken state in Unreal, not because we’re holding back.
Now that we’re leaning into what actually works, development is moving faster than ever.

I seen you guys said being made in Unity or Godot would be smoother for VR. Could those game engines be a possibility in the future if you guys were to explore the VR sector again? And good luck with your projects!
