How are you guys doing? It's another blog and I just wanna talk about some stuffs, along with some rants.
Halloween 2024
Obviously I just stayed at home. We don't really have Halloween culture here in Southeast Asia, but for the first time in forever, I managed to draw Patchouli for a Halloween art. I don't usually do festive arts because I'm super slow and I always feel like these arts are awkward to look at when the festivals are long over.
Videogames
A lot of cool videogames have been and are coming out. I wish my PC is good enough to play the Monster Hunter Wilds beta but it needs a serious upgrade. My PC is 8 years old..
I finished Final Fantasy V Pixel Remaster though. FFV was my childhood game so this is me reliving it after over 20 years have passed, fun game. FF should return to the job system.
I've been watching a streamer playing Metaphor: Refantazio and that game is fun. Story is intense. Anyone here playing it?
Comic for Batch 56
I'm debating with myself what kind of stuff I'm doing for Batch 56 comic. Of course there would be a comic for this batch. I already have something in mind though.
Rant
Lately I've been feeing how unfair it is for certain artists to get favored by favoritism and it's a bit disheartening, you know?
Just yesterday, I checked my Gumroad which has long-banned all NSFW contents and my store got wiped in June, yet a big NSFW Patreon artist's stuffs got recommended to me in my face on Gumroad. Their stores are still open and all the NSFW stuffs are still there, unbothered.
Some Patreon artists can also just post straight up explicit NSFW stuffs on their front and first pages and they are also bigger than me, while I couldn't and will get suspended if I were to try.
Pokemon artists can still do NSFW contents and post and sell their NSFW Pokemon and Nintendo stuffs out in the open on social medias, meanwhile I get targeted DMCAs when I try to post anything Nintendo on Twitter and Patreon.
It's just... tiring. This issue has been troubling me and got me a few big art blocks over the past years. I'm pretty sure I've never poked any hornet's nest but I always get punished harder and way faster than most people. No clue why.
Oh well.

I still doubt it is really Nintendo doing all of the DMCAs. The social media DMCA has a big issue where you don't need to actually file it from the original creator as long as you can provide info such as names and addresses and I'm 100% some Nintendo lawyer-wannabe guy is roleplaying that in their spare time.

I think it's extremely unfair that such restrictions are still placed on FUYA. If there are restrictions on drawing, they simply slip it into the compensation requested without making it public. If you are a supporter, you are well aware of this, so isn't it okay? Although it's not something I should be writing about here.

I still say the Nintendo DMCA was bogus because I'm still seeing Splatoon and Metroid and Zelda and so many others series get works. The "one exception" was Guftrup having A Zelda piece get taken down, but their Link art gets free passes. I think I know who that artist is that's still selling NSFW on Gumroad, but I've seen a fuck ton others that are still there, so yeah. Games, UFO Grandizer finally came out and as a huge fan of Go Nagi I had to get it even though I'm not too familiar with any of the shows. It's good...but I don't mean that in a good way. The dialogue and the music (when it's there) are great, but there is so little to do (as if right now) that it's b-o-r-i-n-g. I'm just waiting for Capcom Fighting Collection 2 to come out so I can play Marvel Super Heros all over again. There is Girls' Frontline 2 open for pre-register, so I'm all up in that. Just hope to God Thompson is in this because she's Best Raifu.

Doing pretty good despite the economy still being crap here in US. Picked up Zenless Zone Zero at launch and have been having a blast. It and Nikke have just been wonderful. Outside of gachas I just play a lot of Elden Ring. I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving. While I'm not an artist, I've followed and supported them long enough to have seen what you're talking about. It really sucks.
