If you can upload series watch-alongs while still doing shows for Youtube, that'd be pretty cool. Lots of reactors have shows exclusive to their Patreon that eventually may or may not be edited for Youtube. It's more incentive for people to subscribe to Patreon. And if you wanted, you could watch the new season of Last of Us as it airs and not have to wait months for it to win a poll for the channel show. And get caught up on the Disney+ Marvel shows.

I am a die hard Buffy fan who did not watch Angel. Might be the anomaly but I didn’t care to watch it ever and don’t think it impacted my Buffy experience.

Honestly I'm not fussed about Angel watch alongs can take them or leave them, There is some good episodes but not as into it as buffy, there is not that much cross over, yes there is some, I watched all of buffy then gave Angel a try and I think that was fine.

It may be an unpopular opinion here, but I don’t think she needs to watch angel. There is crossover but not enough to make it worth starting a whole 5 season series for about 5-10 episodes where the plots merge. That being said, I love Angel (the character) and Buffy. I do not get Ashleigh’s animosity for that character and their relationship. If anything, Parker the poophead should make her appreciate how much angel cared for and respected and loved Buffy.

I like episodes where Spike shows up after a long absence. They're not the best of the season, usually, but they're some of the best, unless you're a Spike hater, and there are some fans like that too. This episode features two pretty good tunes by Bif Naked - Lucky, when Buffy dances with Parker and then sleeps with him, and Dollhead -- It's Over, It's Under, when Buffy is looking for Harmony and waiting for Parker to call. I like the first one better. You actually asked about this artist. This is a pretty structurally balanced episode. The three couples sleep together, but then the Harsh Light of Day comes along, which brings out all the problems of the three couples. Buffy tries to get over Angel quickly and runs into Parker, Anya tries to get over her feelings for Xander with sex and it obviously doesn't work, and Harmony thinks for a while that a relationship through violence can work. Obviously, that doesn't work either. In the end, all three girls, upset by their personal failures, form a kind of triangle. I also like that at each stage of the relationship, Parker pauses and asks his partner - is everything okay, is she willing to continue, maybe something is not right for her, maybe she doesn't need to rush. He is as polite and gallant as possible with his victims, so it turns out that the girls have no one to blame for their miscalculation except themselves. Of course, Parker didn't tell everything about their relationship, but they didn't discuss whether they loved each other, so officially there is no deception. It was his victims who thought that this sex meant something more to him. As for Angel - I think he is worth watching. I think we see Angel much more and better than when he was just Buffy's couple. After all, Buffy is a show about Buffy, all the other characters are secondary, while Angel gets to be fully fleshed out in her own show. It's possible that you'll like Angel in her own show more than you like Angel as a character in Buffy. But even if you don't -- there's only 5 seasons, not 7 like Buffy.

Glad to hear you’re doing Angel watch-alongs—assuming you haven’t changed your mind since the Mr. Holland’s Opus post! Just a quick heads-up: personally, I think season 1 starts off a little slow. It’s not terrible or anything, but the show really starts to find its groove in season 2. So if the first few episodes aren’t quite pulling you in, don’t worry—you’re not alone. A lot of us felt the same way, but trust me, it gets better. A lot better.

Interesting. The subtitles are off for the first two episodes of the fourth season of WATCH ALONG, and on for the third. Well, thanks for that at least. I was already thinking about lowering my subscription level because I can't understand what the full reactions are about.

No spoilers but if you hit the ending of the final season of Buffy it will have a huge cliffhanger that carries over to Angel season 5...you will be screwing yourself out of it. If you skip watching Angel

Part 2 to this episode is on Angel...spike follows the ring to LA where Oz took it to give to Angel....do not skip that show...there are tons of crossovers you have to watch them at the same time as Buffy or you will miss so much.
