Dumbledore is fixing to do something fucking stupid isn't he? Holy hell man why can't you leave poor Harry alone. Stupid old man gonna get death breathed if he keeps this crap up. As for a third pet I think the Basilisk would be a good choice but a Hippogryph would also be a good choice.

Personally I think the Basilisk trope is over used. If his next companion must be a snake then maybe a Horned Serpent would be a nice change of pace? If it doesn’t need to be a snake then maybe a Snallygaster or hear me out the giant squid of the black lake becomes Harry’s personal Kraken

With how Harry’s Voice Magic works, it wouldn’t make sense for him to have two wands. The Nundu Core is the only one capable of using Harry’s power. The others would just break after some time.

Loretta has her own plans that involve Harry, especially since he is the only wizard in centuries capable of speaking the same language as her. Basilisk is a good pet to have around.

Dumbledore won’t exactly be totally against Harry. His plan involves something they won’t like, but he’s not dumb enough to piss off a Nundu, so he will be more discreet about what he will do.

Hagrid seemed to like his shoulder much more, and Itisa quite often let out growls, especially when Hagrid's feather tail bumped against her. Hagrid? xD shouldn't it be Hedwig :D

Dumbledore is not that dumb to try to do something drastic, especially to a Nundu. If he tries something, it will be something discreet.

Dumbledore will have his flaws in this story, but I’m not trying to bash the character. In Dumbledore’s eyes, Itisa, despite being tamed is still extremely dangerous, so he wants to make sure nothing bad happens.

Great story so far mate, I love how things going, so the 'Greater Good' man is up to something. Love these sorts of stories... I know many don't, but with how Rowling wrote Dumbledore, it's not that hard to bash him. Like come on, who would leave a child with people they KNEW would not love the child because of the child's parents and their lifestyle? For someone who meant to be smart, Dumbledore was effing stupid here. And for the events that comes next, for someone who is meant to be smart, the first year could easily prevented. It cries out as a set up once you think about it. Took me a few years as people had to point it out, but once they did, it made lots of sense.
