Cierto que las minis que están sacando tienen un aire más "cartoon", pero creo que lo que os hace destacar es el "realismo ( más plausible)" de las vestimentas, armaduras etc... Alta fantasía con aire cartoon creo que se alejaría bastante de vuestra esencia.

I always liked how you approach fantasy armies from a historical perspective; you look at them, choose a historical aesthetic, and make the miniatures accordingly. Neverra, High Kingdom... all your miniatures look like a good mix of realism and fantasy. I like that!

The reason I support Last Sword (and I suspect there is a natural tendancy here to lean that way, after all they've specifically chosen to sub) is because I like you YOU guys do. If I wanted OTT ranges then I'd not be here. Maybe there is a bigger market out there for AoS-esque designs, but AoS drove me away from GW. It's quite possible there would be more people out there that would like it, but personally I'd be sad to lose the great, grounded work I am sure you will create in the future with the current aesthetics. My wife would be 100% behind me not making more of your minis though. She insists the HE and Middenheim armies are enough. I think she is wrong

I print this patreon purely for The Old World. I like where its currently at in terms of style. if anything, id love more interchangeable parts to kitbase with existing games workshop models. For my bretonnia i swapped in heads, arms, and bodies to make my knights more personalized.

allways warhammer fantasy and 40k was a exageration of fantasy and scify, they dont try to hide it, its the point that atraction not a regular or plane fantasy style, i like the style and actual moddels.

I support this Patreon because of the Aesthetic. It is refreshing to have more grounded look to fantasy miniatures. I feel these designs are fanciful but are still something that could be plausible. I dislike the over the top, overly stylized miniatures that are a dime a dozen. Everybody makes miniatures like that. If I wanted that, I would support an artist that focuses on that style instead of yours.

If I can suggest something: make the historical aesthetic the baseline and have the fantastical elements as upgrades/optional extras.

I agree, there is also the context of the figure. Something like a chaos character I tend to give more leniency for fantastical proportions and style because they are full of magical power, etc. A regular human needs to feel more like a regular human.

The biggest reason why I like your ministures so much is the style, which is not such a WOW style.

For me, the realism of the figure has little to do with proportion or flamboyancy of equipment, and much more to do with the *posing*. The images you attached have highly fantastical armor and weaponry, but feel believable because of the way they carry their weapons, gesture, and stand. That is what draws me to Last Sword (and other talented sculptors) for use in wargames.

I prefer Last Sword minis to the ones from the old world because of the more grounded and historical style. I don’t like the exaggerated proportions of the fantasy stuff. When helmets are bigger than torsos and weapons are so big they would need a crane to use, i lose the immersion into the setting.

Honestly I collect whfb (pre old world) and I really love the fantasy elements and proportions for that sort of adjacent stuff (like fantasy wood elves and the like) so I can use them as stand ins. Having said that I think the naturalistic viking stuff is amazing and I hope you keep doing that as well.

I'd rather prefer models that look like warhammer old world style... To be honest I only use the models you create as old world proxy...

I have been subscribed almost from the start to this patreon. I only play TOW and AoS as my fantasy games. I use your mini's 100% for these games, thus the closer to those settings (without getting in trouble) the better for me. :D

what made me keep Last Sword regardless of whether i want to use these models immediately or not, is this style you guys have. The over the top warcraft style is relly offputting to me.

Warhammer Fantasy hasn't had a "realistic" approach for about twenty years, since mid-6th edition. 7th went crazy and it hasn't been toned down since.
