Texas Game Christmas Update

With less than an hour remaining in the week, I have finished the long-promised grab gallery, complete with sounds and screenshake! Admittedly, it works better with some animations than others, just due to the nature of how I imported them in the first place, but all of them are in there, and finishing a level will unlock all of that level's animations!
The gallery viewer has a few play functions to mess around with, but I hope most of it is self explanatory. The skull button (usually, depends on the animation) will trigger the KO portion of the move, though you can also hit the loop button to just have the animation loop without needing to press anything (again, depends on the animation).
Additionally, pressing 'C' while viewing an animation will fade out the UI so that it's not in the way.
And with that, the holiday period begins.

That is a known issue on older computers or laptops. The game is an incredible resource hog due to how the old version of Game Maker functions, and the only real solution is to transfer the whole project to Game Maker 2, which is something I plan to do for the final release.

You should just be able to unzip the folder from the link above, then run the .exe file labelled 'Game - Texas in Trouble'

Does someone have white square instead of animations ? Maybe it's my computer or this update was supposed to be put in the previous game archive.

hey i tried extracting it to the game and it didn't work. really excited to look at it, but not sure what i'm supposed to do about it. what's the specific file name?

The gallery is awesome! It’s fun to see all your work on display, though I can’t seem to find the cow stampede in the grabs? Though maybe I missed it. Also, love the Easter egg of “molly wuz ere”. Is this a teaser for Texas in Trouble 2~?
