If I had less restraint, Tedd would have actually done this during the storyline in response to Elliot being supportive.
I know some readers would absolutely be on board with that, buuut it would have been out of character for a number of reasons, AND derailed the story beyond repair, so we're getting it here instead.

Yeah, on the other hand, neither Elliot nor Tedd have shown a preference for male/male stuff--usually they both like either themselves or their partners (or both) to be in a feminine form.
