Not enough people in the BFF tier suggested/voted for me to watch the last two movies. Almost all the movies on this list are voted on each month by BFF tier members, so I watch what they pick :)

Of course maybe the best idea for next month is Hamilton lol. Even if if the Disney version is a little watered down the music and performances should be great.

I saw it now on the list, I just overlooked it with a casual glance lol. Most of the movies I remember but when she said she hadn't seen many Studio Ghibli movies I just used context clues rather than rereading the list. It happens, sometimes when I glance over things, my short term memory sucks. But that's good, it gives me more ideas to think of recommending. I'd like to recommend my personal favorite movie but most people aren't familiar with it. Pan's Labyrinth directed by Guillermo Del Toro. Won best foreign language film at the Oscars. It's a dark fantasy, but I worry it'll be too obscure for most members. Honestly, with your enjoyment of Once upon a time, if you haven't seen it check it out. Movie deals with fairytales and reality taking place during the Spanish civil war.

Yeah! I wanted to do this for awhile and finally had some free time to organize! :D I haven't seen a lot of the other ghibi movies so that would be awesome! I think Ponyo is the only other one I have watched (that isn't already on the list above)

Cool, definitely helps when thinking of movies to reccomend to know what's already been seen. I'm gonna guess that we'll probably have some more studio Ghibli suggestions now that it has it's own HBO Max section lol. Which, well Ghibli movies are always pretty good so at least there's that.

I do plan too! :) I saw it in theaters and did the small review for it on Youtube, but I'll wait till it comes out on DVD (or wait till the series catches up to the movie)
