Update v.04 goals
🕑 Added 2014-08-27 05:57:53 +0000 UTC Evening, Patrons! I received a response from Patreon support, and unfortunately there's no way for me to limit a paid post based on patron tier level, so I'm just going to have to use a workaround. From now on, for every update, there will be two posts - one containing the newest prototype update, which will be considered a 'free' update limited to the tiers that have access to them ($5 and above,) and then a paid update (like this one) that outlines my goals for the next prototype update for Crisis Point. So, without further ado, now that v.03 is finished and released, here are my plans for v.04: UPDATE V.04 GOALS - Combat focused update! -Add in Force Shot upgrade -Add sliding + air dodge functions -Add in a non-knockdown "taking damage" animation, rebalance enemies accordingly -Update crouching animation -New HUD -Design, animate, and prep enemies for combat (tentacles) -Add in lighting system -Improve camera -Fix the visual glitches zoom-in is causing -More sex animations (tentacles, slime duo) -Create more content (areas) I'd like to take a quick moment to thank each and every one of you, even those of you signed on to the $1 tier. Just the fact that you're willing to support Crisis Point means the world to me, and I couldn't do this without you guys! If all you're wanting is being able to reconfigure keys, no worries - that was one of the goals of v.03. When I changed the controls to WSAD, I set it up to prepare for adding reconfigurable controls later on. If you want the control setup to actually work differently though (i.e. button functions change entirely), shoot me your idea and I'll give it some thought! Glad you're liking the game so far though!

Hey there Anon, I am really enjoying the game so far and looking quite forward to its development. But is there any chance that you might implement an option to change the controls? It just feels a tad awkward for me when I shoot in any other direction besides left and right. I know it's still REALLY early in development but this is just my two cents.

No worries, I'm still loving it. I just need a short rest to recover from all the problems the slimes' AI gave me, that's all :P And to catch up on some gaming as well!
