The story’s sound effects make me smile every time! Dan, is that you whistling? 😗

If anyone is struggling to create a hem with the longtail cast on (as I did), I swapped it for a backwards loop cast on. It creates a larger loop thst is easier to find and keep even, when you turn it up. It looks exactly the same once your item, mitts, or hat is finished. I think I struggle because my cast ons tend to be very tight.

Fabulous! I've just started the mitts and they are knitting up quickly so I will be getting to the hat by Christmas. I am having trouble finding a 2.5mm circular needle in the stores here (SC, USA). I can get them on line though, no problem. Have a great day!

Look forward to learning how to do a folded brim. Thank you Kay for your great tutorials💗

Oh I can't wait to cast on! I love that there is no ribbing. But I need to cast on for the bigger (Large) size and there is only one set of Cast on stitches. I really love making sets. Thank-you for all the hard work you both put in for us.

The mitts are cozy and the hat will be too! Great to do a folded brim, as ribbing is not my favourite thing!

Oh how lovely! I'm super excited to cast on project #2!! 🧶🎄 I'm loving the wintery story too... And all the little elements that add depth... car horn, whistling, oxen, trees falling etc all so perfectly placed... ❄️🌳🐂 Can't wait to cast on tonight! ✨🎄🧶
