I was amused when you had said that you really didn’t like lupins….I once planted them in one of my flowerbeds and they spread so bad they almost took over….they were pretty for a few weeks, but crowded out my other flowers….they had to go!!! I am really enjoying ‘My Perfect Socks” series. Thank you.

I'm going to say 53 cast offs for Kay. I think you had over 50 cast ons last year. We're there any that you didn't show us while you were in the design process? I am going to make a point if finding time to watch your extra series this year.

Kay, my little Gandaughter (aged 5), just saw your Sweetie socks and said,"I'd love a pair of those, but not pink, purple and blue, so they look shiny!" I have my order then. Please release the pattern soon 🙏

Two things: Kay’s new socks - you said you could see sweets-as soon as you said that, that was all I could see. I think you should call it Sweet Shop! Dan’s sweater: it does have to do with how it is spun and how you are pulling it. I find if I pull from the inside of a cake, I get that overspun look (the way Kay held it up and it twisted on itself is how spinners check their twist); if I pull from outside the cake I don’t get that. When I do long-tail cast on I often get that so I’m adding to the twist, other times it gets looser so I’m removing twist. Since yours is in a ball there is no outside and inside so you may just need to manually untwist it if it’s a problem. When I use a hand sewing needle and the thread gets twisted! I just let the needle hang and untwist. Don’t know if any of this is helpful but wanted to put it out there. Another wonderful episode!
