So the changes I made in 0.17 seemed to either completely solve or greatly removed the flashing issue for most people. It did cause some people who didn't have problems before, to start having problems. So I've changed it back for this release, and uploaded a flash patch for those affected by the issue.
I think this will be all the work I'll do on removing the flash issue in day one. From the info I got from the f95 polls it looks like only 6% of players experience significant issues after the patch, and I don't think I'll be able to get it lower than that without completely redoing the animation.
I believe I can solve the issue for day two, so I'm going to focus on that. I'm not going to add anymore content to day one for now, and I think I got all the bugs, so from this point on it's full steam ahead on day two!

You were doing it right. There was a bug where you could only do it the first time you entered your room. So it worked when I went to test it, but if you exited the room and went back in, it stopped working. I've fixed it. the patch should be up in 15 min, followed by the full game in another 30.

I copied everything from the patch into the .15 folder (should still be same effect), but after patching it, I still don't see/can't activate the event with the panties in the room. does it need to be a specific time? (also I am doing it from the key items menu)

okay, since I am rather interested in this project and your interests more or less seem to align with mine, I'll play through it a few more times and compile a list of all bugs/inconsistency I find, hopefully that will help you out.

I really appreciate your help. Sadly my personality won't let me have a broken release out for too long. Luckily it's not much active work. It takes me like 5 min to fix the bug, it's just like an hour to upload the game. But I can do other things while that's working.

no worries, its not game breaking, you can actually get rid of it if you go meet your landlord, she replaces the image, but its something to keep mind of. honestly, I work with other developers, if I might say, make a list of bugs, but don't try to go and patch them one at a time and update, as you develop more, more bugs will develop and it will drive you crazy and burn you out. something fixed will get broken eventually with new content. Just make a list, and get it all sorted out for the next major update, small things like this are expected in early releases, only consider hot fixes if the game has something really broken with it.

I mentioned that whole thing with Iris and how you kinda get soft locked/forced to go to friends house in a weird way. Also at some point land ladies' panties you have turns into Iris' (texture wise) when Iris gives clothes back

Minor glitch: After Iris pulls the jar out of my ass and I go downstairs to get the key to my bedroom from You-Know-Who, she appears to be standing at the kitchen sink, but I can't interact with her. Going to her bedroom continues the story, though.
